o Manage the overall operations of the warehouse. I monitor the intake of items received in by freight, UPS, FedEx and USPS. I manage to keep things in order and flowing with no obstacles by maintain a strong relationship with our primary delivery companies and having them contact me with incoming ETA’s and load sizes to plan ahead. 

o Perform vast majority of work within UPS Worldship in order to maintain outgoing shipments. I have come up with a “flawless” picking and packing technique to improve productivity time and efforts.

o Deliverer equipment using the company box truck, in the event we are understaffed.

o Managing inventory and quality control through cycle counts. Took the initiative and created a “sign out” sheet/logbook, which was later reviewed and approved by upper management, in order for the warehouse personnel to better manage inventory.

 

RCN Corp-Warehouse Department (Temp Agency: May 2013-July 2013)

o         Take in customer returns from the front counter in a quick and orderly manner to keep up with productivity.

o         Hand out equipment to technicians according to the jobs making sure they get everything they need to be prepared for anything on the road.

o         Take in orders being delivered to keep the outgoing flow stocked up and ready.

I was sent here again for a three month time frame. I did my three months and again the company was not hiring permanently so I moved on to another job.
